An error has occurred and the application will now close

I have just installed ofusion and am getting an error when i
1. open 3ds max 7
2. right click perspective viewport
3. navigate: views/extended/ofusion viewport
4. The app thinks for a bit and then throw the following error:

"An error has occurred and the application will now close. No scene changes have occurrred since your last save"

Have I installed ofusion correctly?
- I have installed oFusion_ce_1.6.exe to my max directory: C:\3dsmax7
- After the first error, I installed vcredist_x86.exe.
- I still get the error on empty and non empty scenes
- I have also tried rebooting

Any advise on how to get the viewport working?

This is a list of what you can test:

Update your hardware video drivers

Change the Max video driver used (i.e. if using OpenGL to D3D9)

Change the Render System used by oFusion

Post your ogre.log file (created in the max root folder)

Very cool. The viewport is now working!
