Problem with normals, I think

Hi to all,

I'm having some problem with normals, at least I think it's a normal problem :)

I have the two following screenshots to show you the problem. Those 2 screens were taken from 2 frames of a iddle animation (ie the chest of the character move up/down as he breath)

If you take a closer look at the chest (almost under his right arm), you can see a triangle that is dark in one frame and correctly lit in the other, it makes of a bizar effect in real-time, believe me :lol:




Edit: I forgot to mention that the problem only occurs when I'm using stencil shadow.

try collapsing a few vertexes here and there and see if the problem goes away

You mean in my app? I do not applied any scale transform onto it.

The only time I did apply a scale was when I received the model, I did apply a scale onto it in 3ds before the skinning and animation process.
