Hi Lioric.

I am using the the Mogre(C#) port for the C++ osm loader but I am having some problems loading the scene.

Can you provide me the .osm XML format, what Nodes and attributes has, I want to do some tests to the C# code.

Hey cool, I was wondering about whether a C# OSm loader would be developed as our client is hoping to get the game portion of our project ported to 360 sometime in the next year or so :)

I'll have to check the moge one out :)

There's already a port of the OSMLoader code avaliable in
the forums, use the search button :wink:

Yes the OSMLoader Port for Mogre already exists, but it is based in a post for the OSMLoader Port for OgreDotNet posted in Jun 19, 2006. I fixed an error in the port and posted in the wiki, but maybe have more problems.

Tha last version of OSMLoader is Jul 28, 2006. Then I think the current OSMloader Port for Mogre is old.

Do you want to use Mogre with Xbox 360? I think that for now it will not work, it is not based in XNA.

no at the moment were using blitzmax with Ogre for 3D rendering, but will port the game to Xbox after the PC version is done.

Still early days yet, we are still mostly at the concept and design stage of the game, and were waiting for Eihort (with the option of a commercial licence) and the Max 9 version of Ofusion pro for Eihort to get released before we start anything.

Good opportunity to work on the game design whilst were waiting though :) I doubt we will be looking at Xbox seriously till next year, by which time XNA pro will hopefully be released and we can decide what is the best route to go to get our game on the 360.
