Flats objects in viewport and in Ogre

Hi...I'm having a problem when exporting/viewing objecs from 3DS Max using oFusion...

I'm trying with a simple object, let's say a Torus, with a simple material (no texture)...what I get in the perspective smooth viewport in 3DS is this



But when I import the mesh in Ogre, or examine the scene through the oFusion viewport, this is the object I get



Like "flat" view in 3d studio...am I missing something ?
Normals should be ok, since the rendering in 3ds is good...

Do you have any lights in your scene?

Seems you have a full white ambient light (in the "Scene" settings panel) or you have applied a material with a white emissive color
