problem with key optimizer

hello everyone,
I use CE version and I want to export a character animation which contains several animations, in one of them there is a rotation problem in engine, when I export the animation. I read some posts here and I found that this is because of animation optimization that ofusion does when it wants to export animation, how can I gain the control of this optimizing proses?
I can't check the box beside this option in the Object properties dialog box (it is inactive).
PS: what is the concept? I mean how dose it work?
(looking the exports log from MAXscript listener, it shows the original key frame numbers, reduced by a percentage.)

You can disable the anim optimizer (but i wont advise that, as the produced files with anim optimizer enabled are of equal quality but much more smaller) in the "Object settings" panel

I have not seen any issues with optimized animations (with the correct values)

In the Key Optimizer section, there are the position, rotation and scale thresholds, these values controls the optimization process (more aggressive optimization)

Could you provide more details on what exactly is your rotation problem in your engine?

hi Lioric,
the rotation problem is that when engine wants to blend between two animations, the wrist and prop bones rotates the bigger angle while in the ofusion viewport every thing seems ok , so I thought that it is something related to key optimizing while exporting the animations.
(if you want I can send you source fine).
the bigger problem is that I can't even enable or disable optimization (the "use advanced optimizer" check box is blank).
another thing Is:
in the object setting macro script there is a checkbox named adv_optimizer _mod that is commented out but it has been used in the macroscript and because of this when i change value of position rotation or scale threshold
the script gets error that the adv_optimizer_mod is undifined and it stops running

Yes, it would be good if you can send the scene to review

What was the solution to this, I'm having the same issue.

My issues is specificly with animations blending and rotating around the bigger angle rather than the shortest path.

This was fixed early this year and is part of the Pro version

For the CE version it will be in the next update (to be released on May 30 or before)
