Hello all,

I was wondering if anyone has already recompiled the OSM viewer with the updated oSceneLoader lib.

I would like to capture a level I build for my demoreel and i cant do that from inside max' ofusion window. I don't know anything about coding or compiling so any help is very much appreciated.

What do you mean "capture" ? Take a screen shot?

If you maximize the oFusion viewport, and press PrtScrn on your keyboard, it will put a screen shot on the clipboard. Then open PhotoShop or MS Paint and paste the image into a new document.

Because its for a moving demoreel i like to capture a flythrough (using fraps), but nothing fancy. I also might need the viewer to demonstrate the level later on in realtime (i hope...). I could offcourse also use the max viewport for that, but i think it would look much nicer and more like a 'real' game in some kind of standalone application.

P.s. If im overlooking some other simple solutions for demonstrating my work outside max, plz inform me.

Well, with oFusion, it's easy to export to .OSM, which in turn is easy to load into an Ogre application using the OSM loader. However, if you are not a programmer, or are using a different version of Ogre from what the current oFusion package supports, then you're variously short on luck.

Ok, thx for the info.
Ill check the forum and tutorials and see if i can learn some basic compiling skills. I allways knew my ZXspectrum programming skills would come in handy one day

I think i overestimated my skills here...
So if someone does recompile the viewer (or something else that loads osm scenes), plz let me know
