carrara 6 to directx through ofusion to ogre3d

Carrara 6 has a directX exporter that seems to be working. I try to bring the file into 3dstudio using polytrans, and then exporting as ogre3d through ofusion Some of the bones seem to be missing though, and upon export the skeleton for ogre3d is composed of twice as many bones.

It may be a problem with polytrans, but their exporter has been around for a long time and working.

Any ideas?

Is the animated object correctly working in max after exporting it? the number of bones are correct?

What animation system is used (skin mod)?

The number of bones exported should be the same as the number of bones in max (or less if they were optimized and are not used)

If you could post or send me the scene file i will take a look at it asap
