Cegui Mesh Viewer "OGRE EXCEPTION (7InternationalErrorE

I apologize, I'm new to ogre so excuse me if this question seems redundant or obvious. I'm currently using ofusion in 3DS max 9 and I have exported the scene, which consists of a single model mesh, but every time I attempt to open the exported scene in Segui mesh Viewer, I get one of two errors. The first one is when I attempt Open GL, the application simply crashes. When I attempt Direct X 9, i get the following error "OGRE EXCEPTION (7InternationalErrorException); Can't find requested video mode. in D3dRenderSystem...".

Cegui always crashes for me in open gl, but runs fine when I just open the application without any scene / mesh files. There was an earlier error about missing d3dx9.dll, but I downloaded that from some website and threw it into my system32 folder and the error went away.

I am currently running Vista Ultimate on my macbook, dual booting between OS X and Vista.

Thanks, I appreciate all the help I can get.

Can you open any other mesh files? (from the ogre demos)

Do you have the latest video drivers for your video hardware?

Do some tests with other mesh viewers applications that are available

I have the latest video drivers and I can view other ogre scenes within the demos. Do you recommend any other mesh viewers, I'm new to this. Also, I'm going to try and triangulate the mesh, I didn't do this before.

Triangulating didn't help at all, i still get the same error. :?

Are you using the scene file or the .mesh files?

The mesh viewer supports .mesh files only, what exactly do you mean with "open the scene in cegui viewer"?

Have you tested with loading other meshes in the cegui viewer (not executing other demos)

Post the ogre.log file from the viewer after you load the mesh

I got the files checked out and they were ok (ran fine with ogre), so it seems to have been a problem with the application which has just recently decided to start working. I have no explanation for this, but it could be because of a vista update, idk.

Thanks for all the help
