Is it possible to provide binary format osm file?
We have a problem, in our project, we need to load many osm files each have many object/material animations stored in osm file with xml(text) format.
Loading and parsing xml files takes lot of time.

Is better to have a simple converter that can batch converts osm files (we don't even need ofusion expoter support binary file!),
and a binary osm loader to load osm file faster.

Thanks.

Yes, this feature is being tested

It is a custom scene format library that adds the binary format to the available scene types in the export dialog

I will add the "external binary batch converter" to the list for you to process your current osm scenes

Do you have a defined timeframe when you need this feature in your project, or do you prefer this with the next update?

yeah, this would be nice, more efficient and faster loading and some extra security with your scenes. Sounds like a really good addition :)

That's great!! :D
We'll happy if we can get this feature ASAP. Our lead programmer noticed me this problem because he has a little suffer waiting osm load when debuging :(

When will next update releasing? Can you list all new features and releasing date of next version? So I can adjust team schedule to insert task applying new feature earlier.

Anyway, nice job ! Loric !!

I noticed that the binary scene loader and XML to binary tool and their workings mentioned in the knowledgebase but neither are avaliable on my Support page.

Just wondering if these had been officialy released yet?

The binary scene support and its tools are completed and were released to users that needed it

It is tagged as a version 2 feature, if you need them now, ask and they will be in your account page
