hi guys,
i'm new to ofusion and i wanna learn if is there any way to have the viewport of Ofusion to show correctly the cell shading from the ink 'n paint material of 3Dsmax 9.
Also, i have trouble to update the viewport. many time i have to switch between direct 3D and openGL.
any help will be welcome!

The ink 'n paint material is not supported as this material was not produced to be used on iteractive engines (performance issues)
If you have a link to any Cell shading or Toon shading shader material that is specific for interactive engines (in HLSL, CG, CGFX, FX types) post the link and we will convert it to be used in oFusion directly
For your update issues, provide more details about it (what exactly are you experiencing)
Have you installed your latest video drivers?

does such functionnality can be emulated otherwise(toon or cell shading). Do we have to have full version of ofusion(ofusion Pro) to import and use custom ogre material ?
as for the "glitch" with openGL and direct 3D, i've tested ofusion on 2 different type of computer with both different video card updated recently(within a month). Both experiencing the same problem, when updating the viewport while working on material, the object lose color and reflection and shadow become jaggy. At this moment, if i go to Ofusion viewport configuration, switch to direct 3D or openGL, depending which is already active, and then re-initialize the perspective view to Ofusion one, everything get back to normal until i make another change and update to my material. even with simple object like sphere this problem persist.

Yes, any shading material can be created with gpu shaders, there are several free shaders in the internet that produces toon or cell shading effect, and several comes with the free or commercial shader editors
As previously mentioned, if you have a link for a cell or toon shader that you want to be converted for use in oFusion, post the link
If you could you provide a sample scene were we can reproduce your issue, we will take a look at it
here's a pic of a cell shader that I extended from the one that comes with ShaderFX, converted to work in ofusion and ogre.
