Hi Lioric,

Could you please email me with more info about the benefits of oFusion Pro?
We're currently using CE version and are facing big difficulties with understanding how to make some things like shadows, terrain and normal mapping to work.
I don't know if we're using it the wrong way, but its very difficult to make normal mapping to work, even when following the tutorials present in the oFusion webpage.
I'm not particularly experienced with 3D development, but I'm trying to understand how the whole thing works. I particularly found it very hard to understand what each parameter does and what things mean, specially for Vertex Shaders and Pixel Shaders, which seem to be crucial part of the design but we don't have any idea how to work with it.
Can you please provide more info about the benefits of the pro version? Additionally, if you could send any addittional documentation/tutorial, that would be very helpful. There is not much documentation in the oFusion website. Thansks. Any help would be appreciated.

Regards,
Felipe

I have notified the person in charge, you should be receiving more details in your email soon

Probably it will be best for you to use shaderFX support, with shaderFX you can create extremely good shaders in no time very easily (just connecting nodes)

Doing shaders the 'normal' way needs the user to have understanding of the shader creation procedure (hlsl, asm, cg) and the gpu internals (registers, states, samplers) just to name a few

If what you want is to easily make shaders, then shaderFX is your solution (i recommend shaderFX to even advanced shader authors)

The Pro version completely supports shaderFX in the preview viewport as you create or modify your shader (and supports the DirectX material, to load .FX files), and will create the needed Ogre materials and shaders for your application when exporting, the produced materials and shaders can be used without the need for any modification in the user's application

Lioric,

Thanks for your quick response. I'm waiting for the email with the details. We'll be looking forward in using oFusion Pro and ShaderFX, which seems to be a solution for our issues.

Thanks!
