Lack of information about oFusion and Pro version

hi!

I'm interested by the project oFusion, but the website really lacks of informations regarding the Pro Version. I looked through all the website and nowhere I could found:
-Informations about the existence of a Pro Version
-The advantages of this version (or the limitations of CE edition)
-How it's possible to get it?

Another concern is about the 3DS Max version supported by oFusion.
According to this post (http://www.ogre3d.org/phpBB2addons/viewtopic.php?t=7298), 3DS MAx 6 is supported but the installer given on the website only supports version 7,8,9!

thks

More details has been sent to your email

Details about the Pro version are not at the website, as in this particular time we want to focus on producing quality and not quantity (our main target is providing the best tools and support to our customers, and not producing tools as a mass production line)

At the version 2 release, details and purchase information will be available at the website

About the versions supported, currently only versions 7/8/9/2008/2009 are supported

For the 1.8.x series only 7/8/9/2008 are supported (Dagon based projects)
For the 1.9.x series only 9/2008/2009 are supported (Eihort and up based projects)

The version 6 should be supported by the 1.8.x series but we officially dont support it as our customers have updated to latest versions (9/2008/2009)

Thanks for you reply.
I'm using Eihort and have moved to a 2009 version of 3DS Max.
Is it possible to get the CE Edition in version 1.9.x? because I didn't find it on the download section.

Hi --

Now I'm confused. In a separate thread (only a few days old), Evak and I discussed the fact that MAX 2009 is not supported yet (and no replies to the contrary were posted). However below you indicate that 2009 is supported for the 1.9.x version. I am running 1.9.30 (Professional), which did not give me an option to install for 2009 when I installed it -- only 2008. And the dlls as compiled do not work with 2009.

Lioric -- is there a hotfix or later version I should be running? I cannot find any reference to 2009 on the Support site or the KnowledgeBase.

Thanks for any clarification on this -- I am trying to come up with a workflow to get MAX 2009 scenes back into MAX 9 without losing valuable information like layers, etc.

Ofusion was updated lastnight to a new version. requires re registering your ofusion license etc. Says this supports max 2009.

Lioric is usually several versions ahead of release with ofusion builds, often adding custom features for clients that take a while to appear in the release build. Sometimes I think this causes some confusion.

Latest version on my new account page is:

oFusion Pro 1.9.34 for Max 9/2008/2009 (August 06, 2008)

Hello

And what about ce version?

Evak

hmm, this doesn't look good. CE hasn't been updated in over a year now. Makes it hard to recommend it to people and a real shame when the Pro version is so good :(

OK, but why have a ce version that not evolve annd a pro version? ce version is not a light version of pro?

I think that's because CE is a "gift" to the OGRE comunity. its not really a "ligth" version of ofusion.

Think it this way, the pro version is the way to go if you are a professional who wants the latest features available. If you are a indie/beginner, the CE is sufficient to start.

Ah, OK, I did not understand things like this. Is someone can mail me price and features of pro version versus ce?

Maybe there will be a new version when shoggoth is released it's been delayed for quite a few months and I know that Lioric has mentioned ogre 1.6 and V2.0 of ofusion several times over the last few months.
