I have been using the 1.8 series of the exporter because I didn't want to update during a project we were doing. Now the project has ended so I checked the new 1.9 series of the exporter. I installed 1.9.34 but I'm getting errors and I'm unable to use the exporter at all.
At Max startup there shows an error dialog that has a title 'Loading DLLs' and the contents is
When I click OK (there are no other choices given) I get another error dialog titled 'MAXScript Auto-load Script Error - C:\Program Files\Autodesk\3ds Max 9\scripts\startup\oFusionTools.ms Exception' and saying
Max starts but I can't use oFusion. I can't access the oFusion viewport (there is no such option in the menu) nor can I export anything because when selecting the Export item in the menu nothing happens. Accessing the Scene or Viewport items in the menu give more MaxScript related errors.
I have Max 9 with SP2 installed, on a 32-bit machine. I also have the Visual C++ redistributable package installed, both 2005 and 2008.
Any guesses what's going on?
