hi there. earlier i posted:

Hello there.
You should know by now how desperate i am. xD

So, here we go.
I'm willing to pay (a reasonable fee) for someone who teaches me how to transform/convert import/export:
XML files FROM SECONDLIFE or Opensim based TO 3dStudio.
and 3ds files to xml - secondlife compatible from already created meshes.
NOT sculpties. Just object/meshes files.

I tried Ogre.
Primcomposer, etc etc.
But no luck so far.

So, please allow me to post this thread.

Please drop some light here.

thanks in advance

So, i got a reply and i was told to post in this forum and that the Ofusion creator could give me hand. I hope so!
I really need some help.
Someone who might be able to write a script. or something!
I will pay for it. I really don't care. At this point, i just want to have my stuff working.
Please reply. Thanks a lot

Probably there are a reader out there to load SecondLife files (really, by this time it must be), there are tons of converters (and some of them have an extensive list of supported formats), see if there is a converter that load the files you need and produce it in a compatible format (as .obj, .fbx or any format supported in Max, directly or indirectly)

And to produce the assets from Max, if there is no export support to SecondLife format via any existing script or tool, do the same as the import process, save the files in a compatible format that the tool that can write SL files support (again .obj or other) load it on that application and produce SL files from there

You might know what tools are used to create the content in SL, see if any of those tools has a common format that can be used as an intermediary file format

Search SouceForge site, they might have a project that is compatible with those files if you want some pointers on how to handle the data

If your paying it's probably best to post your job on rentacoder, elance or guru.com and let people place bids for your job. I believe it's free to post jobs on those sites.
