Hello fellow ogre users!

We are about to use NxOgre for our FPS game which is in early design stage.
But we had some questions which we would like answered before going with NxOgre.
1. Is it possible to create a FPS style camera? if yes how would you do it? (like make a cylinder and attach the camera at the top of it?)
And also that it can walk through the level ofcourse
2. How about distribution? If we use NxOgre for our project are we still allowed to distribute the project comercially or freely?

Thank you for reading!

It is possible to make a fps-like camera... If you don't know how you will probably have a hard time making your game, unless it's for fun.
For the commercial distribution, might want to check the licence. It's open-source so I guess that means you can, if you leave your game open-source also. Don't quote me on that, I never really paid attention to licenses because I didn't need them but you can easilly find it by yourself, it's stated on the website and has probably been answered on the forums already.

Good luck with your project.

You can use NxOgre in commercial projects like any other LGPL licenced library. You don't have to release the source code to your project unless you statically link to NxOgre; i.e. you don't use in the DLL form.

Otherwise, go for it.
