global anchor and position

Can someone explain "Global Anchor" and "Global Position" in "Revolute Joints". I have read PhysX doc but there are no explanation

can someone please tell this guy how to use correct grammer punctuation nice words and show a bit more self initiative by asking more specific questions tell what you have understood so far and not bothering for every small pieces without a bit of trial and error and being a help vampire

I am myself not that familiar with Joints, but I once used them. As far as I can tell, the anchor is the point where the parts taking part on this joint are connected. Global position is...well...the global position.

i agree i spent about 5 minutes explaining what local and global frames were and then wrote another paragraph or two explaining what anchors and positions were for then i realised i was just copying the physx docs out then just closed down the browser
