Is nxOgre suitable for my project? Please help.

Hi everyone, I'm new to ogre and want to create a demo of off-road terrain simulation. What I want to do is simple: a vehicle running on different kinds of terrains and leaving different tracks with different depth, that is, for example, leaving deeper tracks on snow and lower tracks on soil. The core of this demo is the distinction of the tracks. I wonder with the help of nxogre, is this demo possible to be running in real-time?
