Demos flicker..why?

Hi,

I don't know whats the right word for that unsteadiness of my screen.
Flicker, jitter... whatever, I hope you know what I'm trying to say.

I can compile the demos (grandTurism and SimpleScenes I tested) without any error. And when I execute the demos, I didn't get an error too.
But everything in the ogre window is flickering and identifying some object is really impossible.

You know what I mean? Did someone has the problem, too? And solved it?

maybe running a debug version on low fps?

Yes it's a debug version. Do I have to build the release?

The fps... maybe, where can I find that property and change it? And what value should it be, that it works?

fps stands for frames per seconds and you can not adjust it of course. Build release and tell if it still flickers, release versions are much faster and thereby have higher fps.

Yes, I know what fps are ;)
I've been working with macromedia flash and there I can controll it, so I thought here could be some control-property too.

I compiled it in release now, but it's not really better.
Perhaps it's my graphic hardware?
