Instanced Geometry

Hiya. Have anyone had any success with using instanced geometry in Mogre? I've been trying to follow the code from Crowd and Instancing demo, but use AddSceneNode instead of the AddEntity method. However, instead of the position parameters getting taken form the scenenodes, it has to be set manually. Furthermore, I also couldn't get it to work with mesh that have skeleton and animation.

Anyone has better luck with instanced geometry? Any pointers will be really appreciated :D
