I don't want to be a major pain in the arse, but any timeframe for MOogre to be ported to the Dagon release?
[ducks from the tomatoes and cabbage hurled in my direction]
Of course, I mean Eihort... duh

Still no love on Eihort? It's been a couple of weeks.
It's not a huge issue, I am still developing my project using 1.2.5 and MOGRE 0.1.9 for the editor, but I am about to undertake the conversion of the main engine to Eihort, and at some point I am going to have to bring the editor along for the ride.

I just kind of figured he was waiting on the Ogre guys to announce that RC1 was acceptable.

Well, generally by the time of the RC's, the API is stable...but I see your point.

Sorry guys, I don't find much time lately. It should be out this weekend.

Bekas, in light of the fact that Mogre happens to have one of the best groups for "good" responses to problems...
(and you have yet to whack me upside the head for my stupid questions!)
I think its fair to say... if you need more time... don't sweat it!
In fact, feel free to take an extra week and make a few MogreNewt tutorials! LOL

No rush man, I was just curious when we could expect it. Doing a major Eihort revamp in my game engine now, and I am just trying to plan it all

Hey, just wanna let everyone know that I'm in the migration process and it's taking a lot more time than I anticipated (lots and lots of new goodies in Eihort "unfortunately"
)

Status update:
Eihort Mogre+MogreNewt are compiled and at least the samples are still working. Tomorrow I'll sort some other things out and I'll put out the release candidate for Ogre's release candidate.
I'll get CeguiNet working too in another release.

I haven't had any time to touch Mogre in a while, but this is great news... In fact, this coincides with the soon to be released Eihort final

great! Will OIS v1.1 be used in this release or v1.0? (Wii!
) or are you sticking to axiom input?
Kerion

Is there a managed wrapper for OIS yet?
Bekas
24-03-2007 09:11:58
Yeah, I'm working on an OIS wrapper.
For some weird reason, MDX throws an exception when initializing exclusive mouse with the new Mogre, so I say scrap the sucker

Sweeettt, I've been hoping to see an OIS wrapper for some time now. I would like to use OIS as my input system, so this is good news for me.

Go to the sourceforge page (
http://sourceforge.net/projects/mogre ) and choose Code -> SVN Browse
There you can see more in detail what's going on.
By the looks of it, i'll guess it's very near now.
