SVN trunk should now be considered unstable

Bekas gave me access to the SVN repository to start updating MOGRE for 1.6, and I've branched the HEAD revision off to a 1.4 branch and trunk/HEAD should now be considered unstable.

If you need to get at the stable MOGRE 1.4 code, you can access it at:
https://mogre.svn.sourceforge.net/svnro ... anches/1.4

I don't know much about the SVN phylosophies, but just my thoughts:
Maybe it would be better to keep the stable Mogre version in trunk and the unstable in branch?
If a newcomer wants to download Mogre, it's not good if he get an unstable version.

Or maybe we should write both links to a common place in Forum/wiki. So that there is no misunderstanding.

By the way - if possible it would be nice if the wrapper could be extended so that the member discriptions will be included to Mogre by XML.
(I don't know the special name for it. I mean that VS shows a description if you hover a class member with the mouse)

Anybody been using it? How stable/tested is it?

If "reasonably" stable I'll experiment with converting Squamster to it once I get to my next set of milestones to help test.

It's quite common for the trunk to have the "bleeding edge" development, Ogre uses the same model.

It doesn't compile yet.

Ok, I didn't know that this is common.
Really bleeding that it doesn't compile yet

Hey, at least he's giving it a go - I dont see anyone else here offering to upgrade Mogre to 1.6!

This is no critic.
I just was smiling about Bekas statement: trunk is the "bleeding edge" of development

Aye, I wasn't getting impatient, simply asking.

I'd help but I honestly don't know what needs to be done.

Maybe we can add the MovableText class to the next MogreSDK binary.
(It only can be used if Mogre was compiled with it)
What do you think about?
