night and light problem

hi,
i need to make the day night conditions is etm, right now iam changing the colore values in light map creation function so that iam able to get the day night effect but i need to place the light at some position in terrain in the night but iam not able to get that ,please help me

There is no light object involved in the lightmap generation.

If you actually want to use light objects and have them move around, you should look into dynamic lighting.
