3ds Max 11 - mesh to nxs problem

Hello,

My situation:

I have 3dsMax 9 with OgreMax exporter and old Flour version for creating .nxs
flour in: collision.mesh, on: convex, out: collision.nxs
everything is fine.
Now i changed my 3dsMax to 11 ( what it means new OgreMax exporter ) and i'm trying to do the same with that old flour ( crash ). So i download new flour 4.7 and put that:
flour convert --type:convex collision.mesh
that recieve me empty .nxs
then i tried something like that:
3dsMax11 -> export .mesh.xml -> ogrexmltoflower.rb convex collision.mesh.xml -> collision.flower
then
flour convert collision.flower

And here is the special one - only 10% of my meshes dont have empty .nxs
in log: "Read 0b and Wrote 0b". But for example this is log for correct cook: "Read 0b and Wrote 892b".

Next what i noted: Sometimes when i rename smth.flower to anything for ex. test1.flower, i can obtain working .nxs - but that is random

So my question:
Is there any opportunity to use only .mesh -> .nxs or how can i cook my nxs by this xml method correct.

Hmm, May be an error in the Mesh To Flower Ruby script. The flower importer/NXS saver can pretty much handle anything.

I think there is a NXS exporter for Max. You can find it, you can just use that and skip the conversion process.

I can not find any other exporters for nxs . Even to export .mesh from .3ds i need to use OgreMax, so i dont think that would be easy.

Next research: - for triangle convert everything is fine. But of course i need convex :/

You didn't answer why Flour sometimes generate .nxs when i change name of the file.

I tried to debug that with Flour ( 0.4.8 and 1.7.0 NxOgre ) but then i have exception in resource system:

Here is example of my flower file that i can not cook to .nxs maybe you can try to do that then i could eliminate Flour and think about that ruby script for sure.

<insert weird smilie face>

Your flower file seems to be okay, but Flour seems to gone all weird. For which I have some vague idea why.

First of all, are you using this version of Flour? https://github.com/downloads/betajaen/f ... sx_284.zip

Here is everything:

I need to make .bat for all of my folders witch make that method unstable, because sometimes it work but sometimes not.

Okay, that's a bug with NxOgre build inside flower then. I can have a look at it (but it won't be for a few days), for now I suggest you just do the "test1.flower route" as that seems to be working for you.
