Can see no GUI in Cake (Bleeding)

Okay, I have cake running okay against Bleeding, with one big problem:

Ich habe nein GUI.

The only mention of anything going wrong in the output console is that some of the GUI characters return null pointers (think its a font thing).

Any help would be gladly appreciated.

OH! and I almost forgot, no mouse pointer in the window either.

There is a no GUI in the Bleeding version of Cake. There will be, but just not in the copy you have.

No problem. But would some kind soul point me to the lines of code that show what the gui buttons do? That, I feel, is the meat and postatoes of cake.

ExampleApplication Tutorial is coming well along, and understanding how the GUI works would really help, I feel.
