Bugs

Surely OGRE should have no bugs at all right? Much as we’d like to believe that, we’re all pragmatists at heart and therefore we acknowledge that from time to time, things don’t work the way they should. Accepting this unfortunate fact, we try to work with everyone in the community to address the issues that occur. Here’s how we do it:

What Should You Do If You Find A Bug?

That depends:

  1. If you are able to fix it yourself, providing a patch in the form of a pull request is the way to go.
  2. Otherwise, discuss it in the forums with the community first. It may not actually be a bug, and the community may be able to help you resolve the issue faster than the core team can look at a bug report (there are more of them than there are of us 🙂 )
  3. If you still think it’s a bug and you can’t fix it yourself, raise it in our JIRA or Github. More information on it here.
